Hamid is the Head of Finance at Gresham Hunt. His responsibilities encompass managing financial reporting and forecasting, business partnering, and driving strategic initiatives.
Hamid graduated with first-class Honors in Accounting and Finance in 2010, before starting his career in the Finance sector. His initial role was at Cheapflights.com, an innovative and award-winning technology company. Demonstrating rapid career progression, Hamid qualified as an ACCA Chartered Accountant in 2013, achieving all first-time passes.
After gaining several years of experience in tech, fashion, and FMCG, Hamid joined an executive search firm in 2019 as Group Financial Controller. He played a pivotal role in the company’s substantial growth during his tenure, culminating in a successful trade exit to a private equity-backed business.
Hamid has been a student mentor for the final year Accounting and Finance for the University of Greenwich since 2014.
Outside of work, Hamid enjoys going to the gym most days, is a father of 3 and loves to travel the world.
