Gresham Hunt have partnered with a Top Tier Global Investment Banking client in London who are looking to expand their Markets Internal Audit team.
Our client are looking for an AVP Internal Audit professional to join their global IA team in London.
The role will suit a 1-3 year PQE ACA or ACCA professional looking for either their first or second role in an Internal Audit function. It could also suit an individual who is not a Qualified Accountant that is looking to make a move from another Internal Audit team.
As an AVP within the Internal Audit team, you will be leading and delivering a range of complex audits across the business, in particular the Markets division of the bank.
You will be expected to deliver and lead end to end corporate governance and operational audits
Managing key stakeholder relationships with key leadership personnel across the group in order to deliver the audits and deliver audit recommendations to address the areas of risk and failures in the control framework.
Ensuring line management are familiar with the risk management programs and follow appropriate risk management procedures to control, monitor and report on business activities
Deliver the audits in time and to budget.
This is an expanding internal audit team and as such my client is seeking to attract and appoint ambitious candidates who are keen to add value across the business. This role has arisen due to an internal promotion. This is a highly respected and dynamic audit team and we seek a highly motivated self-starter. Strong communication skills are essential as you work to build relationships across the business as well as strong written report writing skills.
The bank encourage hybrid working and currently work 3 days in the London Head Office and two days from home.
