The Financial Control Accountant will take a key role in the team ensuring efficient group reporting and managing the financial control framework. This role is based in London on a hybrid model.
Responsibilities:
- Generate monthly management accounts for Head Office entities, along with related reconciliations.
- Prepare statutory financial statements (IFRS) and audit files, supporting annual audit activities.
- Assist in preparing the month-end Group reporting process, including compiling reporting packs, cash flow forecasts, and KPI reports.
- Contribute to the development of Group annual budgets.
- Support in valuing intangible assets from business acquisitions and conducting impairment reviews (IFRS).
- Monitor and manage intercompany debt.
- Compile quarterly Group VAT Returns.
- Undertake other ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles in accordance with IFRS.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
