Gresham Hunt has been mandated by one of our leading Investment Management clients to find a new Head of Assurance. This is an exciting opportunity to define crucial 2LOD activities to mitigate against compliance risk to the business.
Our client is one of the largest investment managers in the world, with a diverse range of products across multiple asset classes. They are looking for a Head of Assurance, who will be responsible for leading compliance reviews across the business. You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple lines of defence to ensure high compliance standards are being met.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong assurance, monitoring, testing, and/or internal audit experience within the investment, asset, or wealth management industry, within a large and complex organization
- Strong knowledge of buy-side compliance rules and regulations, and experience with controls designed to comply with them
- Significant stakeholder management skills
- Strong ability to identify and mitigate against compliance risk, with direct experience of working on RCSAs
- Direct experience of managing a team, with ability to delegate tasks effectively and develop junior members
