Internal Audit Manager - Operations
London – Up to £85,000 + 30% bonus & Additional Benefits
Gresham Hunt has been mandated by one of our Global Banking clients to find an experienced Operations Audit Professional to join their Internal Audit Operations team.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Act as the lead on Audit reviews & reports and delegate tasks to members of the team
- Work together with the Director of Audit on the audit lifecycle, risk universe and provide succinct advice on strategic plans when required
- Review, debate & challenge the audit methodology & risk management across various regions, industries & sectors
- Maintain good knowledge of regulatory bodies & any regulatory updates within that could have an impact on the bank
- Be responsible for effective communication across all levels & divisions of the banking group within the Operations Audit capacity
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant experience in Operations Audit (internal or external), having operated at either a Leading Account Firm or Banking Group
- Strong understanding of key regulations that affect a Corporate Banking Group
- Ability to manage & mentor more junior individuals
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a proven ability to manage key stakeholders & regulators
- Ability to work independently as well as part of team
