Investment Senior Associate – ESG
Gresham Hunt are working with a leading ESG Investor in their search for a Senior Associate to join their investment team in Brussels.
The ideal individual will have experience in Private Equity fund investment and a passion for Environmental Impact assessment.
The person:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Private Equity fund investing
- Enthusiastic about Environmental Impact assessment
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work well both individually and in a team
- Strong academic background
- Analytically capable with a strong attention to detail
- Experience using Private Equity data programmes
- Fluent in French and English
The role:
- Contribute across the full spectrum of the fund’s investment activities
- Source and analyse asset managers
- Develop a climate-focused network of European asset managers
- Take charge of all aspects of the investment process, including due diligence, investment recommendations, monitoring post-involvement and contracting
- Present recommendations to the Investment Committee
- Organise and coordinate admin with external providers such as auditors, lawyers and fund administration
- Participate in investor relations, fundraising efforts and be actively involved in building team capacity
