As an IRRBB Manager, you will be pivotal in the effective management of Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) and contribute to strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
As an IRRBB Manager, you will be pivotal in the effective management of Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) and contribute to strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to design and implement risk management strategies.
- Supporting structural hedging activities and managing interest rate risks associated with fixed-rate retail mortgages.
- Analyzing customer behaviors and pricing strategies to make informed recommendations on IRRBB risk management.
- Driving the development and implementation of a robust IRRBB management framework.
Qualifications: To be considered, you should possess:
- Experience in IRRBB, including structural hedging and risk management of fixed-rate retail mortgages.
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in key business software and analytical tools.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a collaborative attitude.
- Knowledge of financial markets and market products (fixed income and derivatives) is advantageous.
- Ambitious, proactive, and adaptable to change.
Location: This role offers flexibility, with options to be based in London or Birmingham, following a hybrid working model.
