Exceptional Opportunity for a Project Accountant!

Are you a skilled Project Accountant seeking a new challenge in the financial sector? We have an exciting role available with a prominent bank based in London on a hybrid model! Immediate start on a 6 month FTC.

As a Project Accountant, you'll take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including documenting financial control frameworks, developing costing models, and leading improvement projects within a prestigious financial institution. Collaborate with teams internationally to develop sustainable solutions and support the UK Finance Director on various improvement projects and system implementations.

Key Objectives:
  • Delivering high-quality documentation and other project deliverables.
  • Ensuring project solutions are sustainable, scalable, and smoothly transitioned to business-as-usual operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with local and international finance resources to deliver various individual projects.
  • Leading Transfer Pricing project for the UK with technical assistance from a big four consultancy.
  • Creating a unified method to distribute UK operation costs, facilitating Transfer Pricing, VAT PESM calculation, and enhancing business decision-making.
  • Documenting the complete internal control environment supporting UK financial reporting.
  • Documenting Regulatory Framework underpinned by internal control framework for high-quality UK statistical reports.
  • Assisting with testing automation of UK Regulatory reporting data.
Key Technical Skills & Qualifications:
  • Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum five years' experience in projects or financial control, preferably in investment banking.
  • Experience in creating and documenting reporting frameworks advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of cost allocations and transfer pricing beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SAP & SAGE.
