Gresham Hunt is working with an established Consultancy Firm to fill the role of Senior Financial Crime Consultant. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of clients subject to financial crime regulations, within financial services and beyond.
The duties of the role include:
- Delivering client engagements in line with the Firm’s standards by increasing efficiency of processes and providing innovative solutions according to business needs
- Liaise with clients for information regarding needs and concerns, enabling positive and quick service
- Identify issues, and make appropriate decisions to overcome them
- Communicate process and risk services
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to consultants, encouraging them in development and involvement
- Conduct business development through marketing initiatives
The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- Financial Crime/AML teams and processes, such as KYC, CDD, EDD, Transactions Monitoring, Sanctions, Fraud, Anti-Bribery and Corruption
- Financial Crime/AML audit or assurance
- Financial Crime/AML data analytics and/or automation
- 3+ years’ working in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry
It is essential that candidates have the following qualifications:
- Educated to at least Bachelor’s level, with a degree in a relevant discipline (or international equivalent)
- A-C GCSE and A-Level grades (or equivalent)
It is strongly preferred that candidates have a professional certification such as CAMS, ICAEW etc.
Please note: while based in London, there is an expectation to travel according to client requests and commitments.
