Our Client, a London headquartered, global investment management business, is looking to hire a well rounded and ambitious operations analyst/associate to join their growing Hong Kong team. With an end-to-end trade life cycle mandate, this role represents a strong growth opportunity to the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
• Operational trade support for all APAC based OTC activities – from trade booking to clearing – across the company’s funds
• Ensuring accurate trade capture and matching of cross-asset instruments, primarily using external trade matching platforms
• Act as local market broker contact
• Support to EMEA and US colleagues as part of a “follow the sun” model
• Successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive process improvement across the trade booking systems and related downstream operational flows
• Focus on OTC with opportunities to expand into Exchange Traded derivatives and Listed Securities in time
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in OTC trade support in a recognised financial services organisation
• Good academic background highly desirable
• Subject matter expertise in OTC trade support & clearing
• Strong knowledge of Interest Rate or Credit asset classes – essential
• Broader asset class and product knowledge highly desirable
• Fluent English is essential, fluent Mandarin & Cantonese highly desirable
