Solutions Architect
A renowned banking group are looking to hire a Solutions Architect into a role where you'll have the freedom to bring technology to the forefront of the business.
You'll be tasked with creating new products and services to really make a difference to customers and the future technological direction of the company. The role is within an agile environment where there is an emphasis on complex problem solving within a collaborative and experimental work space.
As a Senior Solution Architect, you lead from the front in defining and realising the banks digital estate. Building their own customer-facing applications, you’ll be working with Engineering Leads and Solution Architects to ensure they are building the right thing – and building the thing right.
You will also be responsible for growing and shaping their Solution Architecture capability, through coaching and mentoring a virtual team of Solution Architects and Senior Engineers to help realise architecture vision.
|In addition you'll be liaising with stakeholders and blending domain knowledge and deep technical expertise to coach cross-disciplinary feature teams to deliver high quality maintainable software. You will, therefore, have to be flexible and adaptive in a variety of situations.
Required experience:

Prior experience in a senior solution architecture position.

Strong understanding of modern software development practices

Strong understanding of building applications through containerised microservices-based architectures, with a working-to-strong understanding of cloud methodologies

Working knowledge of infrastructure and security architecture practices and concerns

Have played an active part in architecture and design governance

TOGAF or equivalent qualifications.
