Internal Controls Manager

Gresham Hunt has been mandated by one of our Commodities Trading clients to find an internal controls manager. They are at the forefront of sustainable electricity generation and decarbonisation, and trade in energy and related derivatives.
They are looking for a project-minded Internal Controls Manager to update and improve their current Business Procedures. This is a great opportunity for a controls-minded individual to step up and take ownership of the operational framework of the business across front, middle and back office functions.
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in an energy commodities or related regulatory environment (i.e. Investment Banking, Investment Management etc.)
- Proven experience in developing, maintaining, and updating internal controls, compliance frameworks, operational risk frameworks, and/or internal audit methodologies and assessments
- Great understanding of trading operations covering front, middle, and back office functions
