Product Owner - 3 Month Contract
An award-winning bank are looking for a Product Owner from a Financial Services or Banking background.
The key focus areas include advocating for customer needs, staying up-to-date with trends and changes, defining, prioritizing and sequencing backlog of Epics, Features, and User stories, identifying opportunities for organizational transformation, embedding oneself in a full-stack feature team, orchestrating support from cross-functional teams and acting as a point of escalation for business and operational issues related to switching journeys, and understanding risks associated with the job.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience as a Product Owner operating within a full-stack feature team, delivering ISA switching journeys externally, and expert knowledge of the scheme.
They should be able to translate the needs and pain points of both consumers and businesses into meaningful solutions across a variety of front-end channels. Additionally, they should have awareness of propositional, commercial, analytical, technical, and operational elements of proposition development and deliver end-to-end change that impacts customers directly.
Desirable qualifications include:#
-Detailed understanding of the ISA switching scheme
-Delivering MVP to join the Pay UK scheme
-Strong understanding of operational processes and business processes
-Strong business analysis skills
-Expertise in prioritization and benefit realization, based on business and customer value.
-Experience working on ISA based projects/products
-Experience creating Epics, features, and user stories
-Delivery with agile WOW methodologies
