Gresham Hunt's client are hiring a Regulatory Accountant who will report into the Lead Regulatory Reporting Manager within the business. This is a remote role sitting in the wider finance function a leading UK retail bank .
The role:
As Regulatory Reporting Accountant you are primarily responsible for completing and submitting regulatory reports for the PRA and FCA, ensuring the bank conforms with all appropriate regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Submit regulatory reports in an accurate and timely manner;
- Develop reconciliation processes and sign-off procedures for major returns;
- Enhance cross-validations and efficiencies in reporting procedures;
- Provide assistance to Risk team for ICAAP and AIRB reporting projects;
- Integrate new returns into existing regulatory data;
- Improve data quality to improve reporting.
Desired skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience of producing FINREP, COREP and Liquidity returns
- Ability to analyse and explain reports and movements to senior management
- Team player who can work well within Finance team
