Role Overview: As a Regulatory Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with various financial regulations and guidelines. Your expertise will guide the bank in maintaining accurate and timely regulatory reports, contributing to the bank's reputation for integrity and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, liaise with regulatory bodies, and implement best practices to meet reporting requirements efficiently.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory standards and assess their impact on the bank's reporting processes.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Finance, Risk Management, and Legal to gather necessary data for reporting.
- Develop and maintain robust reporting frameworks, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
- Operating as a number two in the team with a view to moving up to Head of Regulatory Reporting in the future.
- Lead a team of skilled professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Extensive experience in regulatory reporting within the banking sector.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., Basel III, MiFID II, CRD IV) and reporting standards (COREP, FINREP, etc.).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or related fields.
