Gresham Hunt are partnering with a global leader in the origination, handling, processing and marketing of agricultural commodities.
This is a critical role in supporting the business through governance within sanctions Compliance globally and requires an individual who is prepared to evolve in a fast growing acquisitive business.
The person:
- 5-7 years of experience within a similar function such as sanctions compliance, due diligence and policy development
- Fluency in English
- Compliance, Legal, auditing or similar background
- Experience working with sanctions is a must
The role:
- Giving advice to the business units about day-to-day compliance matters
- Performing due diligence
- Managing and training the junior compliance officers
- Keeping up-to-date with the regulatory developments from the OFAC, EU Commission, OFSI etc.
- Leading the development of controls around adherence to policies
- Taking the lead on developing corporate policies within the sanctions field including KYC procedures, AML procedures and vessel screening procedures
