Hybrid Working – 3 Days in Office/Week
Gresham Hunt are currently partnered with a globally renowned organisation in Atlanta, who are seeking an experienced Data Protection professional as the Americas lead for the business. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership as the regional DPO and be the point of contact for data protection legislation in the US, Canada and LATAM.
The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in Data Protection and Privacy, ideally within a Law Firm or internal Counsel role.

Knowledge of Privacy industry related standards and regulations i.e. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Brazilian LGPD, Canada PIPEDA.

Demonstratable experience in Privacy by Design and conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).

Previous experience working in a global organization and interacting with globally distributed stakeholders/teams.

Experience working in/with Cyber Security, Compliance and Legal functions.

Fluency in either Spanish or Portuguese essential.

Relevant certifications: CIPP/US/E/C, CIPM, CIPT.

Strong stakeholder management experience along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
